If this pizzelle maker has been used even once, i would be so surprised. Absolutely perfect condition, inside and out.
I have a very old fashioned one with iron plates but this one has non-stick and easy clean teflon. The believe the outside is chrome but that is not totally confirmed, but it is flawless and gorgeous.
The plastic handle is too and it has a clip on the end to keep the lid snug when baking the pizzelles. It will take 2 or 3 tries to get the right amount of batter but i will say a large serving spoon.
After one minute with no peeking, you slowly unclamp and open the lid to see if they are the color you like them. A little overcooked, undercooked or perfect. These are the best ones because you get to eat them right away.
After they cool on a rack, dust them with confectioners sugar. Also included is my grandma's recipe, the one she used since about 1945 and the only one i know. The pizzelle maker is heavy and fabulous. I give these pizzelles as holiday gifts and they are much appreciated by all who are lucky enough to get them.
Great to do with kids and grandkids. This item is made of plastic and teflon, metal.
